Runestone to Provide Data Infrastructure for SURGE’s Mobile Legends Circuit

SURGE, the leading organizer for European mobile esports, and Runestone, a premier esports data infrastructure provider, have announced a strategic year-long partnership to scale the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) ecosystem across the EMEA region.

With MLBB surpassing 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users, SURGE is professionalizing the European market by integrating Runestone’s data infrastructure into its 2026 roadmap. The scale of the ecosystem is underscored by the M7 World Championship, which saw peak viewership of 5.68 million concurrent users during the Grand Finals and 3.6 million in the Swiss Stage.

This infrastructure will support four key products: the SURGE Pro League, the SURGE Nations League, the SURGE Valkyrie Clash (the region’s first female tournament and a qualifier for the MWI at EWC 2026) and the MLBB European Championship (MEC). As the circuit’s premier event, the MEC stands as Europe’s most important tournament, offering teams a wildcard slot for the EWC.

Runestone will provide the low-latency data delivery and integrity monitoring necessary to support this expanded circuit and its participants, including elite organizations such as Team Spirit, Team Falcons, and FUT Esports.
